White Frames in DVDSP

Ok here's a question for all the DVDSP vets out there:

Everytime a track ends, instead of say jumping back to the main menu smoothly I get some annoying white frames (maybe 10-15 frames) and then DVDSP jumps where I programmed it to go.

I tried cutting in some black which helped smooth the transitions between tracks but those annoying white frames are still there.

Any solution to getting rid of these?

By the way, the original source files were reference movies that I exported as mpeg 2's in Final Cut Pro 3.0.4.
