exporting files to mpeg 2

I recently had to do a complete re-install of my OS X as well as Final Cut Pro 3.0. I also went ahead and upgraded to Final Cut 3.0.4 via the download off Apple's website. Everything works just as it did before with one exception: I no longer have the capability to export a sequence as an mpeg 2. The only thing that comes close that isn't greyed out is mpeg 4.

Does anyone out there know how I can get my mpeg 2 option back on line? I need this function back since I want to burn a sequence on DVD Studio Pro.

Any help would be appreciated.

After re-installing OS X, did you remember to put your QuickTime Pro key back into the QuickTime preferences?

I'm not sure if that's the problem, but it's worth a try.

MPEG 2

Hey Chris,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Turns out there was a quicktime upgrade that I forgot to install when I put DVDSP back into my system.

I say again: YOU DA MAN!
