Beats Wireless Headphones Wont Charge

I just got the new Beats Wireless headphones this week and i tried to charge it and got this message, "Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled. To prevent damaging your computer, the USB device drawing too much power has been disabled. Other devices may have also been disabled. When you disconnect the device drawing too much power, your other USB devices will be enabled again."

I don't know what to do. I've tried plugging it into a different port, using different cables, plugging it into the wall, but nothing works.
Help me please

ps. im using a 2011 Macbook Pro

The USB power specifications state that the maximum current a device can draw from a USB port is 500mA. Unfortunately a lot of USB dongle manufacturers ignore this and hence when you plug such a device into a Mac the Mac complains and disconnects the port thus saving your Mac power supply from being damaged. I suggest you get a Wallmart mains unit with a USB socket, you should then be able to charge your headphones.
