G5 unwanted sleep in off hours

I use Carbon Copy Cloner to back up my hard drive to an external drive.
It had been working fine for months but now the ccc. log says the system is going to sleep and ccc. can't do anything about it.
The result is ccc. can't do its nightly backup.

Yet I have "never" checked off in the Energy Saver settings for the computer.

What other things can I look at to keep the computer running all night?

Thank you,
Simi D

So, does the Mac go to sleep, ie do you have to wake it up when you return?
Try resetting the PRAM, run the ONYX maintenance routines.

Hello Mike
I wanted to monitor the computer for a while to see if the issue with sleep was happening any longer.
That problem doesn't seem to be recurring after I reset the nightly backup for Carbon Copy Cloner.
All looks good right now.

Many thanks,
Simi D
