Strange Issue

Ok, let me fully explain my problem before you go making fun of the new chick.

I have an HP Desktop. I have an HP Printer. I have a Lexmark Scanner.

I have a macbook.

I have been trying to print wirelessly from my macbook to the HP printer. I have a wireless router and I also have a "wireless printer server"

When connected, neither works.

Ok, what am I doing wrong?

(And, yes, when the printer is plugged into the macbook via usb, it works just fine)

...Any number of countless things so unfortunately there is no way to simply give you one magic suggestion that will solve it.

Thank you for going ahead and including the answer to my first question — since it works with usb I assume the printer software is correctly installed on the Mac.

Aside from this, do you have any other networking issues with your computer? Can you access stuff online wirelessly?
