Airport Setup Assistant

In error I dumped the airport set up assistant for the addition of airport express to airport extreme in order to extend coverage of my wireless connection. Where can I find it. Do I reintall . As it took ages to get extreme working I am afraid .

Hope you read this before you read your other post, but look in your trash folder to see if it is still in there. If so just drag it back to where you want to keep it.

If it is gone you should either have a airport disk with it on or your original startup disk should have it. I believe using pacifier you can extract just that file instead of re-installing the OS.

You might also want to check Apple's download site to see if it is available to download there.

My error it is not pacifier it is Pacifist. You can find more details at this link. Generally it lets you install specific files and folders instead of an entire package (or OS).

AirPort Utility is also on the disc that came with your base station

This thread is a real keeper for sure. We could go on for days about how an app called pacifier would work and how best to use it. Example:

1) App provided to Windows users on CD to help them deal with sadness they feel when they see an Apple in action

2) Interface tool a wife uses to deal with the invoice associated with day's recent Quad Core Xeon MacPro purchase.
