Google Earth Arrrggghhhh

Twas running Google Earth yesterday on my MBP (10.4.10) when the screen went into horizontal bars, very reminiscent of the days when I built my own computers (by soldering 100s of chips together) and got it wrong by leaving a bad solder bridge!
Total freeze of the MBP and only resolved by crash stopping via the Power button and it wasn't running hot. All's been well since and I'm praying it isn't a developing hardware fault.
Has anyone else had problems with GE?

Hello! I don't know if your using all of GE features but if you're just looking for fast aerial imagery try www.flashearth.com

Google Earth does seem rather buggy. I usually just use Google Maps if I want an aerial image. I'm liking Flash Earth a lot. Too bad it doesn't support Live.com's birds-eye view.
