IE 5.2.2 acting up

A question to the group...
Have any of you noticed that IE 5.2.2 sometimes doesn't load all the way and you have to reload the web page in order to see it? I can move the pointer over the blank page and bits and pieces of the page shows up but reloading is the only real way to get it to show up.

Yeah, I get that all the time! Instead of reloading, I hit Command-A (that's open-Apple and A) which does a 'select all.' This makes everything appear.

Thanx for the input!

Is Netscape worth a look? I just don't want to loose any features.

Check out Mozilla -- you're probably already familiar with it from Linux.

I find Mozilla kind of "cluncky."

The other browser that I use is (mozilla-based) Chimera. It's almost good enough to be my default browser.

As of about 3 days ago, an advertisement appeared between the "back" and "forward" buttons of IE 5.2.2. It just appeared all of a sudden and nothing I do will rid me of it.

Is this evil MS attempt to sell ad space? I am this close >< to permanently dumping IE. (I'm quite liking Safari, by the way.)

This is really annoying. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Jim

Are you sure it's an advertisement? Maybe you accidentally dragged an image there. Try holding down control, and clicking it. There should be a "delete" option.

Safari Rocks

I have been using Safari since it came out. I just upgraded to Beta version .60. I have ditched all the other browsers. I can't wait for the full version to be released. I have yet to find a website that Safari can't handle. The only thing that I can't do is any of the chatrooms. Other than that it is hands down the coolest browser.

Thanks, Chris, that worked.

I still have no idea how it got there though...

Anyway, I'm with Mongoose, Safari is pretty good and I've switched over also.
