moving photo to appleworks

Can someone help me? I am trying to move a photo (which I scanned to HP Gallery) from there to an Appleworks document. I can successfully get it to Applewqorks, but it insists on being on a page by itself, and I can neither move it to the proper place in the document nor enter text on the page it occupies. Please?

Coooo, a long time since I ran Appleworks, I guess you're running OS 9.2 or earlier. I've no problem resizing a piccy under Appleworks 6 so I guess the scan resolution is too large. Try Control clicking the picture and then drastically reducing the size - say 25%, once it's smaller than the page you should be able to 'grab the bottom right of the piccy and resize using the mouse.

Cool moving photo to appleworks

Thanks, Mike.I've tried reducing the pic as far as allowed, and still the picture won't print! I know it can be done because I have done it before I had to reinstall OS10.3.9. I've even tried reinstalling the HP Office Jet.
