Installing Ide Devices In Older Macs

Is it possible to install ide devices in 7600/8500 macs?
I am fed up with the prices of SCSI things, so is apple i guess...
Any available IDE controllers for macs perhaps?
Adaptec is making some interesting cables, from SCSI hostcards to 50pin devices....
ANY IDEAS???

I used a Sonnet Tempo in a 7300. It's a PCI ATA100 controller.

Thanks for your advice.
Sonnettech make some really good IDE controllers for Macs, especially the last TEMPO Trio, and a fantastic IDE controller that takes the HDD on it, solving the problem of how the hell you are going to get the IDE cables through in a 7xxx machine.
I also discovered ACARD. They make Mac IDE controllers, and they have a faster delivery in EEC.

Heh... I forgot about that . I think I had to buy a cable that was longer than the one the came with the card so it would reach the bottom hard drive bay. Just remember that if all your PCI slots are filled, it will be impossible to fit a hard drive on one of the cards (unless for some reason your slots are spaced really far apart ).
