Splitting up one's hard drive
What's the easiest way to split up my hard drive on my g4 in order to separate 9.2.2. and os X?

You don't need separate partitions to install OS 9 and OS X on the same hard drive. However, if you would like two partitions or more, you'll have to format your hard drive with Apple Drive Setup.
