Window management system on os X?

I kinda dislike the layout of th window I see, wanting to open a document in os X (compared to the previous systems before X). Even windows xp does a better job for that. Is there any program that allows me to view these windows differently, and that can be personnalised?

I'm not sure what you mean, do you not want the toolbar on top of every window? Or do you want every window to be separate instead of having each thing open inside one window? Or maybe you want to change the view from icon to list or column.

Can you please be a little bit more specific?

What I meant is, that it's unpractical to view every selected item in one single window, switching from left to right continuously. I'd like to have on single window for every item I open.

I think you're describing column view. Click the first button in the section of 3 on left side of the toolbar to switch to icon view, and then click the long button on the right side of the window's title bar. Now everything will open up in a different window.
