AOL on a Mac

Hi

I have managed to convert a PC user to a Mac user and convinced them to buy a mac but one deciding factor is whether AOL Dialup works on a mac

Is AOL Australia

I know that US AOL used to work on Mac's, I used to have it. Hated it, but I had it. I have one friend on a Mac Down Under, I'll see if I can reach her and ask about AOL. But I would think that info would be available at AOL's web site.

I volunteer at a seniors center in the computer lab and they all want to know what's the best kind of computer to buy. I always tell them to buy the kind recommended by the young fellow who's going to come over and fix it for you

The lab we're using for classes has a bunch of aging peecees with various configurations of win98 and each one has it's own quirks that drive you mad. Between the old folks and the computers, I don't know which gives us the most grief

Take care, Margaret
