Ibook Battery Problem

Ibook Battery Problem

I just upgraded the RAM in my Ibook. Since then my battery icon boots up with a red "X" through it. I've checked the battery and it's fully charged. I removed the extra RAM card and still the battery comes up with the "X". Any thoughts?
