mac book pro crash

my mac book pro has just crashed after i clicked yes for update downloads and restart. have a white screen and a pointer and nothing else for 20+ minutes
help please

If you have not already resolved the issue. Power off the computer (press and hold the pwoer button for 10 seconds if needed). Try rebooting, if successful, check what OS is installed, if still your old OS, download and run Onyx (free download) to repair permissions. Then download the updates as a file to your computer the try updating that way.

Apple Updates

hello

the site to get the updates: go to apple and click on support and then click downloads

what i do is use the apple software updates under the apple menu to get the list then i download each one from the apple support site and install accordingly.


Hope this helps

Personally i like keeping the actual images around as i have multiple computers in my shop here in san jose.
