Apple TV compatibility

Can the apple tv be used with 56HM66 ? That's Toshiba's 56" DLP.
Toshiba told me that this television is not internet connectible though I know that Tivo had a network adaptor to wi-fi for doing similar things.

This television has two HDMI ports and video in / out.

I have some fair tech know-how and seems to me that it should be possible with the HDMI. Any one know about this?

The TV does not need to be internet connectable. You would connect the Tv to Apple TV (via an HDMI cable), and connect Apple TV to the internet via wireless or hard wire. Very easy to connect.
