Putting New HD in my 7500 Power PC

Hello, I have a problem - now getting bigger. I have an "updated" 7500 (w/ g3 card). I bought a used 9 gig HD and unplugged the old 2 gig HD. The computer doesn't recognize the new drive.

Now, I accidently removed the "Finder" from the 2 gig drive and I have nothing but my cd and floppy drive - no access to either HD. And, I can't find my "emergency disk" for floppy start-up. My Nortons Utilites STARTS the computer, but doesn't recognize either HD. I tried running the First Aid (?) and scsi fix (?) programs, but still don't recognize the HDs.

Please help!!!

The new HD is a nikimi, ultra2, scsi. I am going right now to nikimi.com to see what I can find out re: ID, compatibility, etc.

So,

1. How do I get "finder" back into my 2 gig?
2. How do I get the up-dated 9 gig to be recognized?
