Question Insufficient Memory while running Word... ?

Hi All,

I am running a PowerBook 867 with 768 RAM, Mac OS X.2.8

I keep on getting "insufficient memory" error messages when running Microsoft Word. My hard drive is nowhere near full, and I have plenty of RAM.

I am forced to quite the Word documents, restart the machine, which buys me some time, but invariably the issues crop up again.

Any maintenance issues I should be aware of? Any magic bullets known to you all?

Thanks!

The fonts should not be a problem, word does have a problem with font when you have over 2000. I did find this link about the out of memory error.

Great! thanks for the helpful link. I'll try turning autorecover off and see if that does it.
